目前不銹鋼管有兩種制造管子的方式：無縫鋼管（seamless）、焊接或是電阻焊接（electric resistance welding，ERW）。
無縫鋼管是(shi)用(yong)擠型(xing)或是(shi)輥式穿孔方式+冷軋或冷拔相結合(he)制造。
焊接或電阻焊接管(guan)（Electric resistance welding）是(shi)將(jiang)金(jin)屬片折彎(wan)成管(guan)狀后，在邊(bian)緣部分焊接接合，因此在管(guan)的側面會(hui)有焊接縫(feng)。
