毫無疑問,在CARTA諸多系統中歷史最久、應用最早者,當首推CARTA-SRM,這種控制技術的實際應用最早可溯自20世提70年代,但一直到80年代末,僅有為數不多的幾個不銹鋼(gang)管廠采用了這一技術。90年代初,它得到了比較廣泛的應用,有一些不銹鋼管廠完整地采用了CARTA-SRM五個方面的控制技術,而有的廣也選用其中的一部分,其原因是采用這種控制技術可以取得降低成本、提高質量的效果。


 近年來(lai),MDM(SMS-Meer)將CARTA工藝控制技術應用到(dao)除SRM以外的機組(zu)上,即(ji)分(fen)別用于CPM、MPM(PQF)和FPS等(deng)機組(zu)上,對這些(xie)CARTA系統(tong)可作(zuo)如(ru)下評述:


   1. CPM是(shi)MDM的(de)(de)強項(xiang),所以(yi)CARTA-CPM還是(shi)比較(jiao)(jiao)成熟的(de)(de),但是(shi)和以(yi)液壓小艙在軋制(zhi)過程中(zhong)自動調整(zheng)頂(ding)頭(tou)位置的(de)(de)工藝自動控制(zhi)軟件包相比較(jiao)(jiao),可以(yi)說是(shi)不可同日而(er)語;


   2. 在之前(qian)中提到的CARTA-MDM/PQF,只(zhi)能說是(shi)(shi)一(yi)項(xiang)技術設計,無實(shi)(shi)際使用(yong)經驗可言,由于(yu)PQF尚無應(ying)用(yong)實(shi)(shi)例,因此 CARTA 用(yong)于(yu)PQF 則純(chun)屬“空對空”,實(shi)(shi)際上的CARTA-MPM也是(shi)(shi)不(bu)存在的;


   3. CARTA-FPS和CARTA-SRM 比較(jiao)類(lei)似(si),因此(ci)可(ke)以說(shuo)比較(jiao)成(cheng)熟,僅(jin)僅(jin)幾(ji)年時間(jian)就有(you)4臺FPS機組投產,均采(cai)用(yong)了這(zhe)種控制技術。


  浙江至(zhi)德(de)鋼(gang)有限公司將CARTA控(kong)制(zhi)(zhi)系(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)統(tong)(tong)(tong)(tong)的(de)(de)優(you)點概括(kuo)為:控(kong)制(zhi)(zhi)系(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)統(tong)(tong)(tong)(tong)的(de)(de)操(cao)作(zuo)簡易可行;系(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)統(tong)(tong)(tong)(tong)技(ji)術(shu)不(bu)(bu)死板、不(bu)(bu)僵硬;該控(kong)制(zhi)(zhi)系(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)統(tong)(tong)(tong)(tong)對生(sheng)(sheng)產工(gong)藝、生(sheng)(sheng)產計(ji)劃(hua)和(he)(he)過(guo)程控(kong)制(zhi)(zhi)分(fen)別設(she)置了(le)獨(du)立系(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)統(tong)(tong)(tong)(tong),而各(ge)系(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)統(tong)(tong)(tong)(tong)之(zhi)間(jian)又有信息交換,這種結構形式的(de)(de)技(ji)術(shu)可靠性(xing)高(gao)、透明度高(gao),整合(he)的(de)(de)可能性(xing)大(da);與當前大(da)多數(shu)不(bu)(bu)銹鋼(gang)管廠的(de)(de)生(sheng)(sheng)產水平(ping)和(he)(he)技(ji)術(shu)現狀相適應。最后,值得一提的(de)(de)是(shi)(shi)現代(dai)化(hua)的(de)(de)硬件操(cao)作(zuo)系(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)統(tong)(tong)(tong)(tong)和(he)(he)網絡技(ji)術(shu)發展(zhan)很快,因此(ci)計(ji)算機系(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)統(tong)(tong)(tong)(tong)一經安(an)裝使(shi)用,很快就老化(hua),硬件備件難見,軟件更新無從(cong)談起,而在(zai)CARTA系(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)統(tong)(tong)(tong)(tong)中使(shi)用的(de)(de)都是(shi)(shi)現代(dai)化(hua)的(de)(de)標準PC、Java語言(yan)和(he)(he)標準化(hua)的(de)(de)通信技(ji)術(shu),也就是(shi)(shi)說采用開放(fang)的(de)(de)系(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)統(tong)(tong)(tong)(tong)技(ji)術(shu),以減少后顧之(zhi)憂(you),這不(bu)(bu)能不(bu)(bu)算是(shi)(shi)CARTA技(ji)術(shu)的(de)(de)又一個優(you)點。
